Sweet and docile mermaids who love to befriend and mingle with humans, even though they cannot walk on land. They are especially fascinated by the treasures of human life and delight in visiting seaside cottages.
If a cottage dweller is kind enough to show them their favorite treasures—or even lets them soak in a claw-foot tub filled with fragrant bubbles—they may have a very happy mermaid visitor indeed!
