Our very first listing is a miniature glass dome containing a tiny faerie sitting atop a mushroom, namely a field specimen of a verdigris agaric collected by an overly enthusiastic mycologist! The mushroom, faerie, and display base are all original creations sculpted in-house and reproduced by us using resin 3D printing technology. They cannot be found anywhere else because we do not sell the digital files we create from our sculptures. Also, we only offer pieces that are already completed and ready to ship so there is no waiting for orders to be filled.

Please note that even with the advantage of 3D printing, there are many steps involved in creating these delicate figures. The tiny bodies are usually printed in sections which require supports that are carefully removed post print. Any blemishes left behind are filled and sanded before the pieces can be cemented together.

Once the bare model has been properly prepared, it is meticulously painted and costumed under magnification with extreme attention to detail. Fine hair is applied one tiny lock at a time, hand-made wired wings are inserted, the display is populated with items that are 3D printed or natural—just to name a few of the steps. Since all of these processes can only be done by hand, each figure will have a slightly different expression all their own and the finished pieces will have slight imperfections—all adding to their uniqueness! And, of course, we only use artist-quality materials with high lightfast ratings so our heirloom creations may be enjoyed for years to come.
