Our Process

Our creations, when completed, are a mixed-media blend of traditional sculpting methods and the newer (and exciting!) technology of 3D Printing. This method enables us to sell at a fraction of the price of a typical one-of-a kind piece because the figure is sculpted only once and then turned into a digital file to be reproduced.

But after the figure is printed, we basically employ the same techniques used on one-of-a-kind creations. In fact, the end result will look very much like a piece hand-sculpted from polymer clay because each will have all the variations and imperfections that make a sculpture unique. Even when printed from the same “mold,” no two are truly identical and will have their own personality!

Using this method, the main advantage is that these pieces are not limited to serious collectors of OOAKs, which can cost thousands of dollars. They are accessible to so many more people who would love to have a fantasy creation in their homes, but were deterred by the cost!
